The coolest new nail art

Whether it’s nail art, moody blues or neon brights, it’s fun to be daring with our digits
. Here’s our guide to the best in bold nails.

Daring nail art

Nail the nail art! When a plain ole French mani doesn’t quite do it, bring on the bold styles. As we know here, the celebs do this best. Do like Vanessa Hudgens did and sport fierce studded nails. She rocked the gold studded nails courtesy of Nails Inc for her Bongo Jeans shoot. They really wowed and were very rock chic. So feisty, we just LOVE them!
If you REALLY want to stand out from the crowd, make like Lily Allen and slap on the smiley faces. She showed off her bright fluoro yellow nails dotted with happy faces on the Graham Norton Show. Because I’m happy...

Tip: Ask your manicurist for help. Choose a gold studded detail, happy symbols or crystal embellishments to really amp it up!

Moody Blues

For a strong statement nail, opt for dark, moody hues. Think Catwoman, minus the costume. Midnight blacks and navy blues were seen on the catwalks with John Rocha and Marc Jacobs recently. The key? Match the darker colours with lighter fashion tones; dark and light are best buddies in the style stakes.

Tip: Try out China Glaze’s Black Liquid Leather on your digits for a glossy, daring style.

To make your hands ultra soft and supple before your manicure, wash them in worm water With hints of mulberry to lighten the skin tone, honey for suppleness and micro crystals to exfoliate skin to smooth perfection, it’s the best prep your hands can have.

Future’s So Bright: Bold Lego Shades

This season’s Lego brights are one of the best ways to inject a pop of colour into your daily look. We love that you can team these vivid shades with neutrals and add an edge to your outfit. Burberry showcased sunshine yellow nails for spring/summer - the trend is set to continue for 2015. Hello Little Miss Sunshine!
